Matthew Leander Kalil has specialized in architectural publications and exhibitions. This website catalogues his editorial work.

Matthew Leander is the Research Assistant in the Office of the Director at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) and works on many of the CCA’s publications, exhibitions, and films. Outside of the CCA, Leander has edited works published by Routledge, The Architecture Observer, Maas Lawrence, Brepols, a+u, 2G, and El Croquis. Previously, he worked at Office of Adrian Phiffer as a designer, model maker, animator, writer, and editor.

He has an M.Arch from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Philosophy from The New School University. 

As an independent writer Matthew Leander has been published in Dispatches, Public Parking, About, and Domus and by Lenz Press.

He is based in Montréal.

A selection of essays, lecture notes, and interviews of Canadian architect Ray Affleck, distilling from his broad body of discourse his idea that psychic and ecological flourishing are positively correlated. This will be the fourth volume in CCA/CUP’s “Building Arguments” series.
